Roum, Wilmer (8 Sept. 1911 - 14 April 1990)

Word has been received here of the death of Wilmer Roum, 77, Highland, a former resident of Clark County. He died Saturday evening, April 14, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison.

Services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, at the Catholic Church in Highland, with burial following there.

Mr. Roum was born in 1912 to Alfred and Pauline (Arneson) Roum in Iowa County. He lived in Clark County from 1919 to 1933 and attended Mound School, north of Christie. The family returned to Iowa County in 1933.

He married the former Lucille Fillback at Highland.

Several children survive, along with several sisters, Alma Genett, Greenwood; Lila Keach, Viola; Tressa Noah, Neillsville, Edna Mostert, Camby, Oregon; Melva Wilhelm, Santana, Florida; Wilma Venden, Ridgeway; Marcella Zemlicka, Dodgeville; and Ada Adams, Madison.
