Huber, Wenzel (6 Sept. 1870 - 2 Oct. 1949)

Spencer, Wis. - Funeral services for Wenzel Huber, 79, will be held at the Swarthout Funeral Home at 1:45 p.m. and at the Trinity Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

He died at his home at 1:45 p.m. Sunday following an illness of three months. Burial will be made in the West Spencer cemetery, the Rev. Randolph Mueller officiating. The body will lie in state at the funeral home until time of the services.

Mr. Huber was born in Czechoslovakia Sept. 6, 1870. He was married to Amelia Stelzl at Spencer, Oct. 7, 1893. He lived in Spencer 56 years and at Neillsville four years.

Survivors include his wife, four sons, Edward, Charles, Arthur and Peter, all of Spencer; and five daughters, Mrs. Martin (Freda) Hoops, Mrs. William (Sophie) Oelrich, Mrs. Raymond (Ella) Matter, and Mrs. Rudolph (Vera) Schweke, Spencer; and Mrs. Orville (Ada) Taylor, Dorchester, Wis. There are 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
