On July 1, 1866, in Gotha, Duchy of Saxonia-Coburg and Gotha (today State of Thuringia, Federal Republic of Germany), a certain Carl Zink was born. His father was Zink, Wilhelm (* July 15, 1841, Gotha, Duchy of Saxonia-Coburg and Gotha (today State of Thuringia, Federal Republic of Germany) // † May 4, 1902, Gotha, Duchy of Saxonia-Coburg and Gotha, German Reich). In 1865 the father was court photographer in Gotha. Carl Zink with his father produced very early X-ray photographies in 1896, shortly after Roentgen had announced his discovery. Now the traces of Carl Zink are lost around 1910.Could he be identical with the Carl Zink from Humbird? I would be grateful for any help with this question. With best wishes Christoph de Haen
