Tischendorf, Keith E. (7 May 1930 - 12 Oct. 1985)

Dorchester - Keith E. Tischendorf, 55, Dorchester, died at 6:50 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where he was admitted the same day.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Dorchester, Wis. The Rev. David Maki will officiate. Burial will be in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Gene Radtke, Rodney Beyer, Helmut Bernt, James Oehler, Theodore Reynolds, Gary Bedroske, Norman Seipp, and Donald Sauter.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Maurina Funeral Home, Dorchester, Wis.

Mr. Tischendorf was born May 7, 1930 at Dorchester, to Edward and Nellie (Oehler) Tischendorf. He was a 1948 graduate of Dorchester High School.

He married Janis Martens Dec. 23, 1951 at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby. She survives.

He was employed by Kraft Foods at Milan from 1948 until his illness, except for two years when he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, where he was a trustee and was a member of the Christian Fellowship League.

Surviving besides his wife, are two daughters, Mrs. Adrian (Carla) Langhus, Appleton, and Camala Tischendorf, Dorchester; one son, Eric Tischendorf, Dorchester, and *** The rest of the article is cut off and unavailable at the time of transcription.
