Lynn, Dale Allen (1 Jun. 1950 - 18 Apr. 2000)

Unity, Wis. - Dale Allen Lynn, 49, Unity, died April 18, 2000, at St. Joseph’s Hospital’s Palliative Care Unit after a brave battle with leukemia for two years.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John’s Lutheran Church in North Spencer. The Rev. David Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Friday at Community Funeral Home in Spencer and from 10 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the church.

Dale was born June 1, 1950, in Marshfield to Rudolph "Rudy" and Evelyn (nee Greening) Lynn. He was a graduate of Colby, Wis. High School. Dale worked at Land O’Lakes in Spencer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

He was a member of the NRA, Range Boys and Ducks Unlimited.

Dale is survived by his special friend Mary Shilts of Unity; his mother, Evelyn Lynn of Phillips; his grandmother, Lydia Greening of Wisconsin Rapids; his brother, Terry Lynn of Fountain Hills, Ariz., and Ronald Lynn of River Falls; his sister, Marsha (William) Martens of Spencer; his nieces and nephews, Elisabeth, David, Aaron and Becky Lynn, Jenny, Jodi and Jason Martens; and a great-nephew, Rudy Nieman.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Rudy Lynn on June 8, 1999.
