Withee - Merle Ann Missling, 73, Withee, died at 10:28 a.m. Feb. 17, 1994, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Withee, with the Rev. Thomas Myhre officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Withee.

Pallbearers will be Richard Kocher, Douglas, Jeff and David Missling, Frank Hendriks and Mark Dawson.

Visitation will be at Maurina Funeral Home, Owen, from 4-8 p.m. Sunday.

She was born June 15, 1920, in the town of Reseburg, to the late Elias and Edna (Bobb) Ott. She was a 1938 graduate of Stanley High School. She married Raymond Missling Nov. 15, 1938, in Stanley.

She and her husband farmed in the town of Longwood for 38 years. They moved to Withee in 1976.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid and sang in the church choir.

She is survived by her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Harvey (Gloria ) Cox of San Antonio, Texas, Mrs. Arthur (Betty) LePage of Withee, Mrs. Richard (Helen) Boening of Eau Claire and Mrs. Brick (Margaret Missling-Root) Root of Steamboat Springs, Colo,; two sons, Robert of Barron and Alan of Withee; one sister, Mrs. Robert (Lilah) Miller of Cedarburg; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by one son, Billy, and one sister, Iona.
