Dorchester - April 29, 1882

Editors Times: Business is lively in our little town. Spring work has commenced though spring weather has not.

The Donnlley House has changed hands. A Grimmer taking possession instead of Donnelly. It is to be thoroughly repaired and made first-class in all respects.

The Catholics are holding a two days fair, Friday and Saturday of this week, in the Catholic church in this place.

School opened in the southern part of this district on Monday, Miss Martha Cushing, teacher.

Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Stearns, of Friendship, N. Y., are in town, guests of their daughter, Mrs. Edgar Foster.

Misses Emma and Bertha Van Dusen are visiting in Portage, Wis.

O. D. Van Dusen and E. H. Winchester returned home yesterday, from a business trip to St. Paul.

The Good Templars held their quarterly election of officers, Saturday evening, April 22. The lodge is small but every member seems earnest and faithful. The cause is a worthy one and success should crown their labors.
