The bride wore a lovely satin dress with a beautiful veil, "Barbarican bride" style and carried white roses and lilies of the valley. The attendants of the couple were - bridesmaids: Miss Sophie Rogus of Thorp, sister of the bride, and Sophie Skrzenta, sister of the groom.
Groomsmen were Casimer Skrzenta, brother of the groom, and Henry Mach, both of Chicago. The bridesmaids wore silk crepe dresses, colors pink and blue and hats to match and carried sprays of roses and sweet peas. A wedding reception was given at Kozlowski’s Hall at Chicago, a large number of relatives and friends attending.
The newlyweds will reside at Chicago where the groom is employed. Those attending the wedding from Thorp were Mrs. Jacob Rogus, mother of the bride; also her sister, Miss Sophie Rogus, an aunt, Mrs. J. Rogus, Mrs. John Rogus, Peter Rogus and Mrs. Frank Dranginis.
