McKimm, James (1861 - 1882)

McKimm - In the town of Weston, Clark County, Wis., June 11th, ? Mr. James McKimm, aged ?2 years, 11 months and 4 days.

Mr. McKimm came to this county from Canada many years ago and has spent man years in the lumber woods on Black River. He remained single until about 3 years ago, when he was married to Mrs. Snyder, of York, and settled down on a farm near the banks of Cawley Creek. He has one brother in the town of York, and he leaves a wife and one child to mourn his loss. Highly esteemed and respected by those around him, he will be sadly missed. His funeral took place Thursday from his residence, Rev. W. T. Hendren, pastor of the Presbyterian church of Neillsville, officiating.
