NEILLSVILLE -- Dorothy Joan Sarazen, age 84, of Neillsville, died on Sunday, April 29, 2007, at the Memorial Health and Rehabilitation Center in Neillsville, Wis.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 3, 2007, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville, Wis. Interment will be in the West Weston Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Dorothy was born on June 1, 1922, in Michigan City, Ind., the daughter of John and Katherine (Murphy) Kazmucha. She married Frank Sarazen on Aug. 6, 1948, in Porter, Ind. They moved to the Neillsville area in 1969 where Frank worked as an insurance adjuster and Dorothy stayed at home raising their family. Frank died in 1987.

She is survived by her children, Joan (Walter) Chasteen, Ferryville, Anne Casey, Neillsville, and Carolyn (Bruce) Huismann, Baton Rouge, La.; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
