Neihaus, Joseph (1903? - 3 Jan. 1948)

George and Walter Cook received word Saturday of the sudden death of their nephew Joseph Niehaus, aged 45, of Marshfield.

In 1927 he was married to Miss Lata Mason, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Mason, who lived in Unity for several years, Mrs. Mason being a sister to George and Walter Cook.

Mr. Niehaus suffered a cerebral hemorrhage at 11 o’clock Saturday morning and passed away at one o’clock.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at the St. John’s Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, one son and two daughters. A son, Donald, died in 1946 at the age of thirteen.

Relatives from Unity attended the services.
