Geo. Prentice returned from Melett, Dakota, last Saturday evening. This place is near the James River, sixty miles north of Nuron. Mr. P. has over six hundred acres of land situated only three miles from the railroad. He has done his threshing and his wheat averaged twenty-four bushels to the acre. Mr. Prentice will spend the winter in Clark County.
