Greely, Merrit C. (1870? - 24 JAN 1939)

Merrit C. Greely died at the hospital in Hoquiam, Washington in his home town January 24, at 7:10 P. M. after an illness of two and one-half years of cancer. He reached the age of 68 years. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul A. Greely who were former residents of Loyal. Mr. Greely will be remembered by many friends because he worked at the A. A. Graves mill; he also worked for Dan Castner and Sam Leabel.

Mr. Greely was married to Miss Barbara Seidelmann October 16, 1900. To this union was born seven children who were all home at the time of his death. He leaves to mourn his wife, two sons and five daughters and six grandchildren.

Pall bearers were six nephews of Mr. Greely. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Patton.
