Knuf, Helen (20 Jul. 1902 - 26 May 1949)

Funeral services were held at the Lulloff Funeral Home Colby, Wis., Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Ernest Knuf, 46, who passed away at 12:30 a.m. Thursday at her farm home in Unity. Mrs. Knuf had been ill for two years.

Rev. Diedrich Kuehl, Lutheran minister from March Rapids, conducted the services and burial was at Cadott cemetery.

Mrs. Knuf was born in Wisconsin Rapids July 20, 1902. When a child, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Blaubach, moved to a farm a few miles west of Spencer. She attended Spencer schools and was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Knuf, nee Helen Blaubach, was married to Ernest Knuf in Spencer in October, 1930 and resided near Stratford until moving to their present home two years ago.

Besides her husband she is survived by seven children, Evelyn, Philip, Marcus, Ruben, Caroline, Verna, and Neta, all at home. Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Emma Blaubach, Spencer; a sister, Mrs. Fred Gumz, Spencer; two brothers, Carl, Wausau; and Leonard, Loretta, Mich.; and a stepbrother, Fred, Hamburg. Her father preceded her in death.

Fisher, Stevens Point; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Ehlert, Vesper; Miss Ella Ehlert, Mr. and Mrs. Ed.
