Miss Caryl Jean Darton and Merlin R. Bender were married Saturday, June 4th at Unity by the Rev. J. A. Olson. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Darton, Loyal, are the bride’s parents, and the groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bender, also of Loyal.

Dinner was served to 100 guests at the church basement at 4 p.m. and later in the evening a wedding dance was held at the Silver Dome.
