LaMond, John (12 JUN 1855 - 23 JAN 1934)

John LaMond, aged 79 years, 7 months and 11 days, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. S. Barnhart, on Tuesday, Jan. 23rd, of stomach trouble and old age infirmities from which he had been suffering for some time.

Deceased was born in Chicago, on June 12, 1855. He was united in marriage with Aris Spaulding at Green Lake, Wis., June 12, 1877, who survives him. The couple came to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) with the Barnhart family in April 1923 and have since made this their home. Besides his wife, he leaves to mourn three daughters, Mrs. John Arndt of Ripon, Wis., Mrs. Victor Kucharski of Green Lake, and Mrs. S. Barnhart of Thorp, and seven grandchildren.

The funeral was held from the home Friday afternoon, Rev. James Irish officiating.

Pallbearers were John Roth, Stanley Mazurek, Aug. Walsdorf, R. Plecity, V. Soli and H.E. Howard.
