Dygart, Hannah (14 OCT 1851 - 7 MAR 1934)

As the result of a fall down a basement stairs, in which she sustained a broken leg and wrist, Mrs. Thos. Dygart passed away Wednesday, March 7th, 1934, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jos. Brickheimer, where she has been residing for the past four years.

Hannah Park Bishop Dygart was born in Taycheedah, Wis., Oct. 14, 1851, and died March 7, 1934, aged 82 years, 4 months and 21 days. On March 13, 1882, at Granseville, Wis., she was united in marriage with Thomas Dygart, who preceded her in death four years ago. They made their home in this vicinity (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.) thirty-two years ago, living on a farm in Eidsvold before moving to the village. After the death of her husband she moved to Athens, Wis., making her home with Mr. and Mrs. Brickheimer and family. Always gay and healthy, physically, the confinement to her bed was more than one of her age could stand.

She leaves her daughter, and one brother, Frank Parks, of Friendship, Wis.

The funeral was held at the Presbyterian Church at Athens on Saturday last, Rev. Couyr officiating, and the body was brought to Thorp for burial in the East Thorp Cemetery.
