Schweke, Minnie #2 (9 Feb. 1886 - 16 Apr. 1963)
Spencer, Wis. - Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at the Trinity Lutheran Church for Mrs. William Schweke, 77, Spencer, who died Tuesday. The Rev. W. R. Krueger officiated and burial was made in St. John’s cemetery.
Pallbearers were Vern Diethman, Alfred Oelrich, Martin Below, George Luepke, William Luepke and Walter Neumann.
The Walther League choir, accompanied by Mrs. Arnold Bruesewitz, sang "Abide With Me," and "I’m But a Stranger Here."
Out-of-town people attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Schweke and son, Ladysmith; Mr. and Mrs. John Zettl and Mrs. Leonard Jasinsky, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Helke, Port Edwards; Mr. and Mrs. George Goellner, Butternut; Mrs. Philip Hakala, Tripoli; Gerald Rinehart, Owen; and many other relatives and friends from Spencer, Greenwood, Abbotsford and the surrounding area.
