Lindow, William G. (7 Jan. 1898 - 29 Dec. 1985)
Chili - William G. Lindow, 87, Route 1, Chili, died early Sunday morning at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville, Wis.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church, Chili. The Rev. Calvin Carey will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton and one hour before services Tuesday at the church.
He was born Jan. 7, 1898 in the Town of Fremont, a son of Gustave and Rosina (Jansch) Lindow. He attended school there. He married Mary Drescher June 5, 1918 in Chili. She survives.
He lived his entire life on the farm where he was born. He also drove a Chili school bus to the Marshfield schools for 27 years.
Surviving, besides his wife, are one son, Marlyn, Chili; one daughter, Mrs. Rudolph (Elvira) Horn, Stevens Point; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents and three sisters and two brothers.
