Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Mildred Marie Rasmussen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Rasmussen, Stanley, to Donald Arthur Sayles of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Sayles, Stanley. The ceremony was performed in the afternoon at 2 o’clock before an improvised altar of roses and ferns at the home of the bride’s parents. The Rev. Mitlein of Stanley read the services.
The bride’s gown was of pale pink silk crepe and she wore a white picture hat and white accessories, and carried a bride’s bouquet, Miss Mabel Rasmussen, sister of the bride, as bridesmaid, was attired in pale blue silk crepe with white hat and white accessories. She carried a bouquet of roses.
After the ceremony a reception was held for immediate relatives and supper was served. Covers were laid for 30.
Mr. and Mrs. Sayles will make their home on a farm near Stanley.
