Saturday afternoon at 3:00 o’clock the marriage of Miss Gertrude Etheline Elmer, Hermina St., and Alfred Baumgarten, West Main St., took place at the parsonage of the Bethel Lutheran Church, the Rev. C.G.U. Siljan performing the ceremony.
The bride wore a gown of taupe silk charmeuse and hat to match. She was attended by Miss Hazel Baumgarten, Medford, sister of the bridegroom. Best man was Ernest Elmer, Milwaukee, brother of the bride.
A wedding dinner was served to immediate relatives at the home of the bride’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Emory, Gesme, Mermine St. The couple left on a trip to Milwaukee and will be at home after Febrary 1st, at 814 Hermina St. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer, Greenwood. The bridegroom is connected with the Jacobson garage and is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Baumgarten of Medford.
