Mrs. Celia Thomas died at the home of her brother, J.S. Andrews, Tuesday afternoon, June 22, 1926. Mrs. Thomas who had been visiting here at the Andrews home for some time, was well and favorably known by our readers.
She was also a sister of the late Mrs. Erastus Bowen and for many years she made her home here (Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) with the Bowen family. Her husband, who preceded her in death many years ago, was at one time a prominent doctor and druggist in Greenwood.
Funeral services will be held from the Andrews home this Thursday afternoon, at two o’clock. The body will be laid to rest in the Greenwood Cemetery. The cause of her death was anemia.
A complete obituary will be printed in next week’s issue of the Gleaner.
