Stannard, Charles (1840? - 8 may 1883)

Stannard - At his residence in this city, Tuesday, May 8, 1883, Charles Stannard, in the forty-third year of his age.

Deceased was a quiet, honest, hardworking man who had the respect of all his acquaintances. He was born in St. Lawrence County, New York, and came to this state about sixteen years ago. He was a brother of John Stannard of the firm of Gates, Stannard & Co., of this city. He leaves a wife, a sister of Nirum Segar, of Weston, and two children. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. W. Webster.
