Violet A. Speich (April 1, 1921 - May 14, 2007)

GREENWOOD -- Violet Anna Speich, age 86, of Greenwood, died Monday, May 14, 2007, at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen, Wis.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 17, at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Greenwood. Burial will follow in the Greenwood City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.

Cuddie Funeral Home of Greenwood is assisting the family with arrangements.

Violet was born April 1, 1921, in the town of Warner, Clark County, to Jake and Ida (Vollrath) Speich. She lived on the family farm and resided with her parents. She then moved to the Greenwood Group Home and resided there until entering Clark County Health Care Center in September 2001. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, embroidery and paint by numbers.

She is survived by her brothers, Elmer (Darlene) Speich, Roscoe, Ill., and Gary (Edie) Speich, Augusta; and nieces and nephews.
