Hetzel, Mildred (Marriage - 22 Apr. 1950)
Miss Mildred Hetzel, a former teacher in the Unity, Wis. High School, and Robert G. Riske were married at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids, Saturday, April 22.
The bride wore a gown of white slipper satin featuring a double ruffle of chantilly lace with rhinestones which formed an apron effect on the entrained skirt. Her full veil with nylon lace trim, earring set, and rhinestone necklace completed her costume.
Attending the bride were Miss Doris Riske, Wausau, Miss Verna Hetzel, Wisconsin Rapids, and Miss Leona Garbarski, Edgar, and Miss Norma Hetzel. Herbert Hetzel was the best man.
They will make their home at the groom’s farm, route 3, Athens.
The Register joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
