Kanter, Nick (1871 - 7 Feb. 1951)

Funeral services for Nick Kanter, 79, who died on February 7th, were held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby with the Rev. N. B. Beschta officiating on Saturday. Burial was made in the Colby cemetery.

Pallbearers were C. J. Kraus, ? M. Firnstahl, Otto Baumgart, Matthew Allar Jr., Alvin Brehm, and Wm. Meyer.

Surviving are nine children including Mrs. Harold Baumgart, and Herbert Kanter of Colby; Clement Kanter, San Bernadino, Calif.; Mrs. Edward Kohlbeck, Grand Rapids, Mich.; Mrs. Peter Hasenohrl, Colby; Mrs. Ed Cleary of Watervliet, Mich.; Mrs. Robert Carberrry, Lodi; Mrs. Joseph Zinthefer, Marshfield; and Mrs. Harry Benjamin, Monterey Park, Calif.
