I was born near Thorp at the Stanley Memorial Hospital. My parents, Drs. Phil and Eleanora Jorgensen were the town physicians from about 1948 - 1962. I have not had the opportunity to visit Thorp, but I was wondering if my parents' old home was still standing. The best that I can do to describe it, is that is was directly across the street from Dr. Neis's old house. Their office was in the house but I am not sure exactly which street it was. In fact, I used to play in his house with his grandaughter when she visited from New Mexico. I would appreciate any info which someone could give me.
