Erickson, Josephine (3 Aug. 1866 - 7 Nov. 1951)

Mrs. Josephine Erickson, 85, died at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lueth, Abbotsford at 3:35 A.M. Wednesday, November 7 of old age complications.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Unity, with burial in the parish cemetery.

The body reposed at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby until the services.

Mrs. Erickson was born in Finland, August 3, 1866. She was married to Carl Erickson in Finland in 1887. Mr. Erickson came to America in 1891 and Mrs. Erickson came eight years later, in 1899.

They lived on a farm about 3 miles west of Unity for 60 years and last February she went to Abbotsford to stay at the Lueth home.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Her husband passed away December 24, 1939. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edward Lueth, Abbotsford, and Mrs. Albert Peterson, Unity, and one son, Arthur of Unity. There are also nine living grandchildren.
