Mrs. Albert Blank, 70 years of age, who has been ill for the past three weeks, died at the home of her son, Marlyn Blank, at Wausau, on Thursday, Jan. 2nd, 1936.
Eunice Francelia Morris was born at Shiocton, Wis., on Feb. 26, 1865. She reside in Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) before her marriage to Albert Blank on March 2, 1887, and the couple continued to make their home here until the death of Mr. Blank on June 22, 1923. Although Mrs. Blank still had her home here, she spent most of the intervening years with her children.
She leaves to mourn her demise, five children, three sons, Marlyn of Wausau, Ashley of Fond du Lac, Eylward of Wausau, two daughters, Almeda (Mrs. Edgar Hanson) of Butternut, and Truvia (Mrs. Fred Kettmering) of Merrill, two brothers, Marion of Townsend and John Morris of West Allis, and one sister, Mrs. Olive Burgess of Marion, and ten grandchildren.
The body was brought here from Wausau on Sunday last and funeral services were held at the Methodist Church at 1:30 o’clock in the afternoon, Rev. G.E. Kelsey officiating. Interment took place in the East Thorp Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Wm. E. Barrett, R.G. Lawrence, Thos. Vander Wegen, Leland Nye, Edward Asselin and Amos Sisco.
