Mrs. Alfred LaFlex died at her home in this city last Friday, death following an illness of a year with cancer. Funeral services were held by Rev. A. B. Clarke at the McElravy Funeral home Sunday and burial was made at Riverside Cemetery.

Sadie Jane Biddle was born at Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) April 19, 1889. Her marriage to Alfred LaFlex took place April 5, 1909. Mr. and Mrs. LaFlex have been residents of Ladysmith for the last ten years. Surviving are the husband, three daughters, Mrs. Belva Savord, city, Goldene LaFlex, Manitowoc, and Milola LaFlex, at home; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. M.C. Anderson of Abbotsford and Mrs. Arnold Eppers of Stanley; and six brothers, John, George, Charles and Ervin Biddle of Thorp; Peter of Holcombe and Sherman of Wahpeton, N.D.
