Bohn, Herman F. (22 MAY 1869 - 30 JAN 1936)
Herman F. Bohn, 66, died at the hospital at Chippewa Falls on Thursday Jan. 30th, 1936, of cancer. He had been a patient since Jan. 20th, at the Stanley and Chippewa hospitals.
Herman Frederich Bohn was born in Sheboygan County, Wis. on May 22, 1869. He was united in marriage to Emelie Wedephol. To this union three children were born. He came to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) with his family in 1911 and settled on a farm 1 ¼ miles south of Thorp, where he resided until his retirement from farming in 1920, the latter years being spent in Plymouth and Thorp.
Mr. Bohn was a member of the F. & A.M. No 264 and also of the local Sons of Veterans camp.
Besides his wife, the following relatives survive: one son Walter of Thorp, two daughters, Marie of Plymouth and Mrs. Milton (Florence) Winters of Elkhart Lake, Wis., two sisters, Miss Helen Bohn and Mrs. Sophia Blanke of Plymouth, and two grandchildren.
Services were conducted by the local Masonic Lodge at the Bogumill Funeral Home Saturday morning, the body being transported to Plymouth the same day. Masonic funeral services were held from the Wittcopf Funeral Home there Sunday afternoon and burial was made in the Union Cemetery at Plymouth.
