Flora, Norma E. (25 FEB 1936)
On Tuesday Feb. 25th, 1936 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, Norma Evelyn, daughter of Mrs. Ethel Flora of Stanley, R. 2, became the bride of Mr. Edward M. Nelson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Nelson of Boyd, R. 2. The couple was attended by Miss Joyce Flora, sister of the bride, and Arthur Samuelson, Rev. J.N. Midtlien performing the ceremony at his residence in Stanley. The bride’s dress was Olympic blue silk flat crepe with veil and her bouquet was made up of pink briar roses and sweet peas. The bridesmaid wore shell pink flat crepe with a should bouquet of Scotch heather, yellow roses and sweet peas. The groom’s suit was the usual navy blue.
A supper was given at the home of the bride’s sister, Mrs. V.L. Peets, to twenty guests, after which a dance was enjoyed by their many friends at the Edson Hall.
The young couple will reside on a farm in the Edson County. (Eidsvold Correspondent)
