Our citizens were called upon yesterday to pay the last tribute to respect to Mrs. C. Teel, wife of Charles Teel, one of our old and most respected citizens of this town. She was called away from earth after a short illness of only a part of one day. The blow was a severe one to her companion and family, they have the sympathies of the neighbors and friends in this hour of sad bereavement.
We have also to record the death of old Mr. Ehlert, German, that was living with his son near this village. His remains were taken to Dodge County, where he moved from with his family a year ago into this town. They have our sympathies, also, in this hour of affliction.
