Heiser, Peter (18 AUG 1870 - 5 APR 1936)

 

Peter Heiser, a former resident of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), who moved to Marshfield about 23 years ago, died of a heart attack at his home on Sunday last.

Funeral services were conducted at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church at Marshfield, Wednesday morning at 9:30 o’clock. The Rev. H.P. Toeller, pastor, officiated, and interment took place in Hillside Cemetery.

Mr. Heiser was born in Cooperstown, Manitowoc Co., on Aug. 18, 1870.

Surviving are his widow and five children: Mrs. Carl (Evelyn) Orgish, Kenosha; Lawrence Heiser, Wausau; Lieut. Ben Heiser, College Station, Texas; and Florence and George Heiser, at home. There are seven grandchildren.

One sister, Mrs. Margaret Tunney, Kenosha, and two brothers, John Heiser, Wausau, and Mike Heiser, Thorp, also survive.
