Hodnett, Esther #2 (20 JAN 1893 - 7 APR 1936)
Mrs. Esther Wolter Hodnett, wife of Lynn Hodnett of Wolter’s Corners (Clark Co., Wis.), died at St. Joseph’s Hospital of blood poisoning on Tuesday morning of last week. She was born at Fall River, Wis., on Jan. 20, 1893 and had reached the age of 43 years and 3 months. Left to mourn are her husband, Lynn Hodnett, two sons, Henry and Harold, and three daughters, Mildred Fern, Pearl and Marlene, also her mother, Mrs. Margaret Wolter, two brothers, Hugo of Withee and Ed Wolter of Spokane, Wash., and five sisters, Mrs. Henry Mann, Fox Lake, Wis.; Mrs. Bertha Jones, Whitewater, Wis.; Mrs. Sam Hagen, Withee, Wis.; Mrs. Oscar Christensen, Stanley, Wis.; and Mrs. Horace Malcom, Spokane, Wash.
Funeral services were held at the Griebenow Funeral Home at Owen, on Saturday afternoon, April 11th, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Rev. Powell officiating.
The pallbearers were: Wm. Niemi, Walter Zawadcki, Archie Nourse, Chas. Buss, Ed Poppe, Chester Neff. Flower girls were: Nelda Nourse, Hazel Stewart, Eleanor Poppe and Eleanor Gautsche.
