Delis, Edward C. (27 NOV 1860 - 24 APR 1936)
Edward Carl Delis, 75, died at his home in the town of Taft on April 24th, 1936, of heart trouble.
Deceased was born in West Prussia, Germany, on Nov. 27th, 1860. He came to America in 1888, working in Chicago until 1903 when he came to Wisconsin. He was married to Otilia Decker in Germany in 1886. She preceded him in death some years ago.
Near relatives surviving are two sons, Alex and Walter Delis, 2 brothers, Fred and Gustave and 2 sisters, Rosie and Julia, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Lutheran Church here on Monday, Rev. F.H. Sprengler officiating and interment taking place in the East Thorp Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Jos. Staszkowski, A. Laskowski, A. Garbarski, Basil Harycki and Ig. Zdrojkowski.
