Miss Genevieve Baker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Baker of the town of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. Cecil W. Wry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Wry of Gilman, were united in marriage at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Stanley, at 8 o’clock on the morning of May 28, 1936.
The bride wore a white silk suit and white accessories with a shoulder bouquet of sweet peas, roses and forget-me-nots. The bridesmaid, Emogene Baker, wore a pink silk suit with white accessories and a shoulder bouquet of sweet peas, roses and forget-me-nots.
The groom’s suit was navy blue.
A reception followed the ceremony at Warren Baker’s.
The happy couple enjoyed a wedding trip to the homes of the bride’s brothers, Paul and Edward and families in Minnesota. Upon their return they will reside on the groom’s farm at Eidsvold.
Out of town guests were Lester Rademaker and children, of north of Stanley, and Mrs. Al Wry of Gilman.
