A very pretty wedding took place at St. Hedwig’s Church on Monday morning, June 15, 1936, when Miss Evelyn Pabich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Pabich became the bride of Mr. Edward Kobylinski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kobylinski, at a nine o’clock mass, Rev. F.A. Kulig officiating. "Veni Creator" was sung by Joseph Pabich, brother of the bride. Mr. John Kobylinski, brother of the groom, acted as best man and Miss Monica Pabich, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid. The maid of honor was Miss Jean Sniegowski. Other attending couples were Paul Kowieski and Ann Olinski, and Chester Kliminski and Louise Olinski. The girls were attired in rainbow colored gowns of Mousseline de soie with flowered headbands to match and carried bouquets of blue larkspur, pink snapdragons and carnations.
The bride was attired in a satin gown trimmed with lace with a nine foot long veil, trimmed with lace and carried a bouquet of calla lilies.
The groom and his attendants wore the conventional blue suits and winged collars with white bow ties.
A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
Out of town guests attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Olinski and sons, Chester, John and Joseph, and daughter, Ann, of Superior, Wis.; and Miss Monica Pabich, Chicago, Ill.
