Miss Bertha Van Loo, daughter of Anton Van Loo of this village (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.), and Fred Warns of Withee, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony by Rev. A.M. Muckerheide at seven o’clock on Friday morning last at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church.
The bride wore a dress of royal blue crepe, with black accessories, and bridal corsage of talisman roses. The couple was attended by Miss Marie Van Loo, sister of the bride, who wore a blue crepe frock and carried a bouquet of talisman roses, and Joseph Warns, brother of the groom, acted as best man.
The wedding breakfast was served the wedding party after the ceremony at the Woodland Hotel, Owen, and the newlyweds then left on their honeymoon.
