Price, Helen (20 NOV 1871 - 23 AUG 1936)
Mrs. Helen Price of the town of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Helen Drozd at Stanley, on Sunday last, succumbing to a heart attack.
Helen Kramer was born in Poland November 20, 1871 and had reached the age of 64 years, 9 months and 7 days. She was united in marriage to Chris Price on May 22, 1887 in Poland. The couple came to America in the Spring of 1890 and resided in Chicago for nine years before coming to Thorp in 1899 where they located on a farm. Mr. Price passed away four years ago.
Surviving relatives are: one brother, Anton Kramer, in Europe; two sisters, Mrs. Mary bonk, Chicago, and Mrs. Francis Neiman, Germany; three sons, Joseph and Bernard, Chicago, and Chris at home; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Dubinski, Mrs. Julia Otte, and Mrs. Antonette Kuzmiarz, Chicago, and Mrs. Helen Drozd, Stanley.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. F.A. Kulig at St. Hedwig’s Church at Pozen on Tuesday morning, interment taking place in the nearby parish cemetery. Pallbearers were: Jos. Sliwa, Thos. Szatalowicz, Louis Twarowski, Martin Soda, Martin Tomkowiak and Frank Wyczawski.
