Louis Gruszynski, son of Adolph Gruszynski of Rochester, Minn., and Miss Lenore M. Possley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Possley of this village (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.), were united in the holy bonds of matrimony by Rev. A.M. Muckerheide, in a ceremony performed at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church here at eight o’clock last Thursday morning.
The couple were attended by Roger Possley, brother of the bride, and Miss Margaret Neis. The bride wore a traveling suit of green with a corsage of orchids. Her bridesmaid wore a brown suit with brown accessories and a corsage of gardenias. Both the groom and best man wore brown suits.
A wedding dinner was served the bridal party at noon at the Northern Hotel at Chippewa Falls, after which Mr. and Mrs. Gruszynski left on a wedding trip through the east and Washington, D.C.
The newlyweds will reside in Thorp where the groom is employed as butter maker at the Thorp Dairy Co. Plant.
The "Courier" joins their many friends in tendering congratulations.
Guests from out of town attending the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Ray Possley, Mendota, Ill., Adolph Gruszynski, Rochester, Minn., Jos. Wasldorf and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Holmstead, Stanley, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Laabs, Curtiss, Wis.
