Delvis, Alice (Marriage - 8 Feb. 1930)

Miss Alice Delvis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Delvis, and Mr. Frank Mitzlaff, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Mitzlaff, were married last Saturday, February 8th, Rev. A. F. Ziehlsdorff reading the marriage ceremony at his home. A wedding reception was given at the home of the groom’s parents, the home being nicely decorated with white, blue and pink crepe paper for the occasion.

Miss Isabell Itzell acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Mr. Oscar Schroeder. The bride was attired in a dress of blue georgette silk and carried a bouquet of roses. The bridesmaid wore a dress of grass georgette silk, her bouquet also consisting of roses. The newlyweds will make their home on a farm at Spencer where the groom is employed.

Those from out of town present at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Louis Mitzlaff of Abbotsford, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schroeder of Marshfield and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Delvis of Colby.
