Widmer, Lillian (Marriage - 24 Apr. 1930)

Miss Lillian Widmer, daughter of Otto Widmer, was married to Lester D. Kops, son of Mrs. Herman Kops of Unity Wednesday afternoon, April 23rd, at the Lutheran church at Unity, Rev. J. A. Olson reading the marriage ceremony. Miss Rose Widmer acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Wallace Kops.

The bride wore a beautiful gown of pink georgette with blonde slippers and carried a bouquet of yellow roses and snapdragons.

Immediately after the wedding ceremony, a dinner was served at the Kops home to about forty relatives and intimate friends. The home was nicely decorated in pink and white for the occasion.

The newly married couple will live near Unity where the groom is engaged in farming. Both are well and favorably known and their many friends wish them a long and happily married life.
