Theilig, Ella (Marriage - 21 May 1930)
A very pretty wedding took place at the Green Grove, Wisconsin Lutheran church on May 21, 1930, Rev. M. C. Goetsch officiating, when Miss Ella Theilig, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Theilig, became the bride of John Mengel of Withee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Mengel. Miss Alvina Theilig acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Carl Radtke of Owen, Wis.
The bride wore a beautiful dress of beige tan georgette crepe and her bouquet consisted of roses and ferns. The bride was attired in a dress of blue flat crepe.
A wedding reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents with near relatives only present. The home was nicely decorated in gold and blue, and with roses and carnations. The newlyweds will make their home on the groom’s farm near Withee.
The bride is well and favorably known in this community and the groom is well liked by those who know him although he is not so well known in this vicinity. The Phonograph joins their many friends in wishing them a happily married life.
