Bloomer, Lucille Margaret (Marriage - 2 July 1930)
A very pretty wedding took place at Marshfield Sacred Heart church last Wednesday when Miss Lucille Margaret Bloomer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bloomer of Marshfield, became the bride of Mr. Richard Alexander Miller, son of Matthew Miller, of Colby, the Rev. Nicholas Kreibich reading the marriage ceremony. Miss Rose Palacek acted as bridesmaid and Harold Miller, brother of the groom, was best man.
The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of white crepe satin and veil of tulle, held in place with a jeweled head band, and carried a shower bouquet of white roses and babies’ breath. The bridesmaid was dressed in pink georgette and carried sunburst roses and sweet peas.
The ceremony was followed by a dinner and supper at the home of the bride’s parents served to sixty-five relatives. Among the guests were the following from Colby: Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Brehm and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Young, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Miller and children, and Mrs. George Miller and children, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gaier and children and the bridegroom’s father, Matthew Miller.
The couple will make their home in Marshfield.
