VanDreel, Helen (Marriage - 6 Nov. 1930)
Miss Helen VanDreel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry VanDreel of Colby, was married to Lloyd Traenkler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Busche of March Rapids, on Thursday, November 6th, at 1:30 o’clock at the St. Mary’s Catholic parsonage, Rev. Henry Lachnit performing the marriage ceremony. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Roseline VanDreel, and Miss Edna Traenkler. The groom was attended by Lavern Traenkler and Alphonse Schraufnagel.
The bride wore a beautiful dress of brown silk crepe with hat to match and carried a bridal bouquet of roses. The two bridesmaids both wore fall suits and each a corsage of roses.
After the marriage ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents which was nicely decorated in pink and white streamers for the occasion. Supper was served to immediate relatives only.
The newlyweds will be at home to their friends the latter part of the month on a farm near March Rapids.
