Messmann, Herman (10 Mar 1940 - 18 May 2007)
Herman Messmann, 67, Dorchester, died Friday, May 18, 2007, at the House of the Dove, Marshfield.
Memorial services were held May 22nd at Peace United Church of Christ, Dorchester, Wis. The Reverend Kenneth Dix presided and interment was in the Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.
Herman was born March 10, 1940, in Medford, the son of Herman and Ella (Baumann) Messmann. He received his early education in Little Black and Medford Schools.
He and Susan Winchell were united in marriage, she survives.
Herman was a retired truck driver and enjoyed the outdoors and restoring toy tractors and trucks.
Survivors include his wife, Susan, Dorchester, two sons, Michael Messmann, Medford and Craig Messmann, Medford; two daughters, Amy (Chuck) Weiler, Dorchester and Tina (Jason) Miller, Dorchester; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; one brother Gary (Jan) Messmann, Medford and three sisters, Betty (John) Vircks, Greenfield, Joyce (Bill) Raasch, Dorchester and Marlene (Marlin) Vircks, Stetsonville.
Maurina-Community Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
