The "Pillar and Post" company gave two entertainments at this place, on Friday and Saturday evening, to not very large audiences. The company did not give the very best of satisfaction, here. It is composed of perfect gentlemen and ladies who lacked any of this swell and swagger commonly found among traveling theatrical people, but their acting is not up to the standard looked for among professionals. Some the other people were air and Mr. Lemming, himself, is a first rate comedian. With that is said, all is said.
Aug. Woik of Green Grove run onto a bear last Wednesday afternoon. He started on a run, so did the bear, in the opposite direction.
