Duellman, Wilma Marie (Marriage - 8 Sept. 1931)
A very pretty wedding took place at the St. Mary’s Catholic church on Tuesday morning, September 8th, 1931, Rev. H. Lachnit officiating, when Miss Wilma Marie Duellman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Duellman, became the bride of Mr. Oscar Seidel of Abbotsford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Seidel of Dorchester, Wis. Miss Marcella Duellman, sister of the bride, acted as maid of honor and Miss Ann Seidel, sister of the groom, served as bridesmaid. The groom was attended by Armon Duellman, brother of the bride, and Albert Seidel of Dorchester, brother of the groom.
The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of white satin and a long veil, arranged in cap effect, and carried a bouquet of mixed autumn flowers. The maid of honor wore an ankle length gown of green satin with head band to match her gown and carried a bouquet of mixed garden flowers. The bridesmaid wore a dress of orange satin with a head band to match and also carried a bouquet of mixed garden flowers.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, for immediate members of the families, and, at four o’clock in the afternoon, a supper was served for seventy-five relatives and friends. The home was nicely decorated in orange, green and white and autumn foliage for the occasion. In the evening, a free wedding dance was given at Wiedenhoeft’s pavilion which was largely attended by friends and relatives.
The newlyweds will make their home in Abbotsford where the groom is employed at the Abbotsford battery station.
The Phonograph joins their many friends in extending best wishes.
