Vanderhoof, Charlotte (15 MAY 1873 - 15 MAY 1939)

Mrs. Charlotte Vanderhoof, whose 66th wedding anniversary would have occurred May 15, died last week Wednesday morning at her home in the Town of Sherman. Mrs. Vanderhoof had been in poor health the past year.

The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis Miller, Charlotte Miller was born in Dorchester, May 15, 1873. She was married in1888 to Munson Vanderhoof, who preceded her in death in July, 1928.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Catherine Mueller and Miss Olive Vanderhoof, and five sons, Harold, Munson, Jr., Ward, Louis and David Vanderhoof. There are also 19 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 1:15 o’clock at the Cooperative Funeral Home in Spencer, and at 2 o’clock at the Methodist Church in Loyal. The Rev. O. A. Jewell officiated at the service, and interment was made in the Loyal cemetery.

Mrs. Vanderhoof’s five sons and one son-in-law acted as pall bearers.

The ladies in charge of the floral offerings were Mrs. C. M. Taylor, Mrs. Dan Castner, Mrs. Andrew Lewis, and Mrs. W. I. Mack.
